Alan Titchmarsh

at Firle Place

An exciting new TV format conceived by Alan Titchmarsh himself sees three teams of contestants attempting to value works of art and is set in a number of Stately Homes around the UK. Contestants must estimate the value of antiques, the age of objects of art and use their amateur antique skills to ensure their participation in the ‘Masterpiece Gallery’. Here they must work out which of the objects on display is the true ‘Masterpiece’ (or rather worth £10,000 or more).

At the end of the show, the team with the highest score wins £1,000.00.

The team from Masterpiece were here for several days setting up while Alan himself arrived to shoot for two solid days at Firle Place in February 2016. The show aired two weeks later on 15th February.
