A guide to Firle
The Firle Estate stretches over the beautiful rolling hills of the South Downs National Park, an area recognised as one of the most important chalk landscapes in the country. At it’s highest point, Firle Beacon, you can enjoy far reaching views of the sea and downland.
The Firle Estate has remained intact for over 500 years and encompasses several picturesque downland villages with traditional pubs, a highly regarded farm shop and of course Firle Place itself. Please use the tabs above to discover a little more about the Estate, as well as things to see and do and where you might stay or eat while you’re here.
We would respectfully ask all visitors to park in the free public car parks provided, to respect the privacy of the people living and working here and to be conscious of areas of the Estate that are not open to the general public.
