Nestled in the foothills of the South Downs, Firle Place offers a captivating fusion of Tudor and Georgian influences. This cherished residence has been the home of the Gage family for over five centuries.

Today, the house showcases remarkable collections of Old Masters including portraits by Van Dyck, Reynolds, and Gainsborough, complemented by a curated ensemble of English and European furniture and an impressive array of Sèvres porcelain.
The house is open from Bank Holiday Sunday 26th May until Tuesday 22nd October 2024 (Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays)
On Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays visits to the house are on a ticketed freeflow basis. On Mondays and Tuesdays visits are by guided tour only. These take place on the hour from 12.00 noon and spaces are limited to 15 people per tour.
Tea Room & Terrace
The Firle Place Tea Room with its charming terrace overlooking the park is open to all on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday during the house opening season from 11.00am until 4.30pm, serving tea and coffee and cakes
